For the first time, 2-Michelin Star Chef Rene Dittrich will showcase his creative cuisine talents at D'Sens French Restaurant, Dusit Thani, Bangkok hotel.
Chef Rene is one of the four Master Chefs who are in town to each unveil his own best menu at selected five-star hotel venues during the "Gourmet Asia 2007, Bangkok" event, held during 22-26 May, 2007. This unprecedented culinary milestone is jointly organized by Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Koelnmesse Pte. Ltd., Expolink Global Network and Peter Knipp Holdings Pte Ltd. (Singapore).

Chef Rene Dittrich, Chef de Cuisine of the 2-Michelin Star restaurant, Johri's Talvo, in St Moritz, Switzerland, proudly unveils a magnificent palate of modern European cuisine for lunch and dinner at D'Sens from May 23-26. The finest wines of Chateau de Beaucastel from France's Rhone Valley will be served to complement Chef Rene's creations. Both promotional set menus and a la carte include Monkfish in Olive Broth on Artichoke Carpaccio, Tomatoes and Apricot Chutney; Lobster Salad "Talvo" on white cabbage with bacon, balsamic dressing; Glazed rack of lamb, Kohlrabi and spring potatoes; Vanilla parfait with strawberries and sweet olives, and others to surprise and delight you.

On Friday, May 25, one of the foremost wine makers in France Mr. Pierre Perrin, the fifth generation of the Perrin owning family of Chateau de Beaucastel from the Rhone Valley, will be at D'Sens French Restaurant to present very highly sophisticated wines, each to precisely complement Chef Rene's 8-course exclusive dinner menu at Bt 15,000++ per person.
